![]() Stay tuned as we test out more VTech and LeapFrog toys for the kids and we keep you updated on how the LeapStart 3D does during our upcoming travels. These are perfect additions to our kids’ activities, and to be honest, after donating most of their unused toys as we packed, these are much welcomed. ![]() We really like VTech and LeapFrog products because they are always teaching our kids during play time. We just store the extra sheets in a drawer close by. One thing I will say is that you can only put one learning sheet in at a time. Our little artist, Poppy, will sit there for hours drawing with chalk and then cleaning it off with a wet cloth to start again. If you lift up the table of the desk, it turns into an easel with a chalkboard and clip to hold paper, as well as storage for your chalk and crayons. It came with sheets, but you can also purchase expansion packs to plug in. The screen provides fun activities and other ways of learning. With the touch of your kid’s fingers, they learn everything from body parts, to colors and numbers. The top of the desk is set up similar to the LeapStart with interactive pages that slide into the desk instead of books. It is a great 3-in-1 desk especially for those of you with a smaller home. I’m sure it will help with the 8 hours of flights ahead while getting him ready for back to school as well.įor Poppy but Aubrey also loves it, we received the VTech Touch and Learn Activity Desk Deluxe. One we know he will love is the Disney Pixar Math In Action book. Aubrey has been glued to the book that was included, but we are excited to stock up on some of their Disney character ones to keep him busy for the flight to Disneyland. They have many books to purchase depending on your child’s interest. It’s actually pretty mind-blowing how the pen knows what is on the pages. It kind of reminds me of a laptop, but with fun learning books you can switch out that also work with the pen to help him read and a screen bringing the pages to life. VTech had the same idea and sent us two of their fun new toys to turn playtime into a learning experience and we have been testing them out over the past few weeks.Īubrey received a super cool interactive learning system from LeapFrog called LeapStart 3D. But, we also wanted something he could do at his own leisure. With that being said, we have been making sure Aubrey is still remembering many of the things that he learned last year, from making him count, add, and subtract, to helping spell and write words on our packing boxes. How do I have a kid in the school system already? Because he was in pre-primary last year, it doesn’t feel like that big of a deal, but the more I think of it the more that it’s hitting me like a ton of bricks. I can’t believe summer is more than halfway over and I am preparing for my little guy to start school.
